Laitex appoints Ilkka Tuomenoksa as Vice President, Sales
Laitex has appointed Mr Ilkka Tuomenoksa as Vice President, Sales from January 4, 2021 onwards. Tuomenoksa has previously worked for Metso, Larox and Outotec and has vast insight into international project business, B2B sales and change management as well as strategy development and deployment. “Ilkka is a very experienced professional, we are happy to welcome him to the team”, Laitex’s CEO Lasse Kurronen says.
In his role Tuomenoksa will be responsible for Laitex’s global project sales. “We want to solve our customers’ needs in a more global scale – getting Ilkka to work with us towards this goal is a great opportunity for both parties. This is a strategic investment in our company’s global growth”, Kurronen continues.
Tuomenoksa himself was drawn to Laitex’s strong will to grow and the company’s good reputation in the customer base. “This is a good opportunity to share my knowledge with the team, but also learn about new products and market needs”, he says. Tuomenoksa is excited to further develop Laitex’s sales processes and business. “To our customers this will translate into a more systematic way of working and faster response times”, he explains.
Timo Kupsanen will continue in Laitex’s management team as Director, Sales & Services and will head the service business also in the future. “With this strengthened management and sales team we will be able to serve our growing number of customers even better, and enhance our local presence and service through a wider representative network”, concludes Kurronen.
